29 March – 2 April 2023

London and Brighton 2023

Little Amal – the 3.5m puppet of a refugee Syrian child who is recognised globally as a symbol of human rights – will return to London and will visit Brighton for the first time, for a festival of welcome, celebration and friendship.

On Wednesday 29 March, in the City of London, major businesses join Amal and Choose Love for a day to raise urgently needed funds for displaced children across the world.

On Thursday 30 March, in Brighton, Amal leads a walk of hope along Brighton beach and will meet children and families who have sought safety and asylum in the UK.

On Saturday 1 April on Hampstead Heath, Amal leads a family friendly Sponsored Walk with Choose Love.

On Sunday 2 April, in Camden as Easter, Passover and Ramadan coincide, Amal leads an interfaith celebration with London Borough of Camden, JW3, Ramadan Tent Project and Dishoom.
