Little Amal will be welcomed in St. Peter’s Square  by Cardinal Michael Czerny, under-secretary of the Migrants and Refugees Section of The Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, and by Monsignor Benoni Ambarus, bishop auxiliary delegate for Charity, for Migrants and for the pastoral care of Roma and Sinti.
The welcome will take place inside the Bernini colonnade near Angels Unawares, a monument depicting a group of migrants.
For this occasion the diocese of Rome is organizing a party to be attended by dozens of children of different Roman parishes and a workshop for children promoted by ASCS.  The event will conclude with a greeting to Amal as she continues her journey to Rome.
This event is organized by the Diocese of Rome and the Migrants and Refugees Section of the Dicastery for service of the Integral Human Development of the Holy See.
