On the Catalan Beach, Amal discovers a new performance, created by the Palestinian choreographer Samar Haddad King (Yaa Samar! Dance Theatre). When the Waves Have Come and Gone is a large-scale dance performance that honors the lives of migrants lost at sea.
Hundreds of dancers in life jackets come together and explore the pain of lost life and the aliveness of the human body. This performance brings together many dance companies from Marseille and the region.
