When the Waves Have Come and Gone
Date: 22 Sep 2021
Created by Palestinian choreographer Samar Haddad King. When the Waves Have Come and Gone is an epic dance honouring the loss of life at sea due to the refugee crisis.
Hundreds of dancers in life jackets have assembled on the beach in Marseille. Together they mix dance and puppetry to explore the grief of lost life and the vivacity of the human body.
